I got chased by so many of these fuckers while I was out that day. […]
Category: Birdwatching
I have restarted my life list when I began to go through my photos, as an aim to to combine my photography and birdwatching into a single hobby.
There are four rules:
* Birds must be wild, free, and alive.
No pets, captive, or dead. Escaped pets don’t count. Feral Portland peacocks do.
* Birds must actually be seen and photographed.
It does not count to only hear the bird. To make it on the list initially, the bird must be photographed in clear, identifiable focus. Additional spots do not need to be photographed.
* I can travel anywhere I like to see birds.
I don’t travel very often, but I am not strictly limited to my patch.
* Birds can be added retroactively.
As I continue to comb through photos, any previously photographed birds can be added to the new life list, so long as it adheres to rule 2.
There is no time limit.
